    • Rotary Screw Compressor Rebuilds and Remanufacturing

    A rotary screw compressor with a worn air end or a failed motor is not always a replacement. ProParts remanufactures rotary screw compressors and motors in-house, in our own shop, to extend their service life with like-new quality, for any brand we service. For a plant with a good frame and a tired machine, a rebuild is the lower-cost path back to production.

    What a rebuild includes

    • Inspection and a written condition report before any work, so you can decide between rebuild and replacement with numbers.
    • Air end, bearings, seals, inlet and minimum pressure valves, separator and cooler as the inspection calls for.
    • Motor rebuild or replacement, and controller check.
    • Test run under load before the machine goes back to your plant, documented in the service report.

    When a rebuild makes sense

    Air end noise or high vibration, oil in the air, a motor that tripped and will not come back, or a machine that is out of production but structurally sound. If the frame, cooler and controller are good, the rebuild usually costs well under a new unit. If they are not, we will tell you, and quote a replacement instead.
