Written instructions say to tighten the two 10-24 nuts on either side of the arm. Installation picture shows the wrenches with one behind the bracket and one on the power lift side of the sending unit arm. This is incorrect!!! The arm must be free to move in the bracket slot. This picture is helpful. https://www.boatownersworld.com/cmc-pl65-65001-65002-parts.html P.S. Space between transom and the bracket is very limited. Recommend putting the 10-24 screw in and one of the nuts before you mount the bracket.
