Product Description

ZEKS ZFF Flanged Filters are designed for high flow compressed air applications. When properly
applied, ZFF Filters remove coalesced liquids, solids and/or vapors from compressed air. Removal of
these contaminants improves the operation and performance of air tools and pneumatic equipment for
increased production quality and efficiency.

ZFF Filter housings meet ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 requirements. The unique top-load design enables filter
element changeout without removing the bottom of the housing. Not only does this feature facilitate changing
of the filter elements, it also minimizes the clearance requirement below the housing.
To satisfy all compressed air filtration requirements, five different element grades are available for ZFF Filters:

GRADE P: PARTICULATE/BULK LIQUID FILTRATION
5 microns; 5 ppm oil carryover; .5 psi Ap clean & dry; 1 psi Ap saturated;
6 psi Ap recommended replacement
For removal of small particles and dirt, and for liquid coalescing. Also used where high
concentrations of airborne dirt are present in the ambient air.

GRADE G: GENERAL PURPOSE FILTRATION
1 micron; .1 ppm oil carryover; 1 psi Ap clean & dry; 2 psi Ap saturated;
6 psi Ap recommended replacement
Coalescing/particulate filter used to protect pneumatic tools and actuators from dirt, oil, and dust.
Element of choice for desiccant dryer afterfilter.

GRADE H: HIGH EFFICIENCY FILTRATION
.01 micron; .01 ppm oil carryover; 1.5 psi Ap clean & dry; 3 psi Ap saturated;
6 psi Ap recommended replacement
Used for fine coalescing and when removal of very small particles is required.

GRADE A: ACTIVATED CARBON FINISHING
.01 micron; .003 ppm oil carryover; 1 psi Ap clean & dry; NA psi Ap saturated;
NA psi Ap recommended replacement
For removal of vapors and odors. A .01 high efficiency (GRADE H) filter must be installed
upstream of the the GRADE A filter. GRADE A elements must be replaced at 6 months or
4,000 hours, whichever is first.

HI-TEMP: HIGH TEMPERATURE FILTRATION
For all particulate filtration needs where compressed air temperature exceeds 250°F.
